Trading, Prop-Firm & Simulation Risk Disclosure
Version 2026-07-24-v2 · Last updated 24 July 2026
1. Educational and operational support only
NetLabs content, simulations, calculations, examples and outputs are not financial, investment, legal or tax advice and are not a personal recommendation.
2. Trading and leverage risk
Futures, foreign exchange, CFDs, cryptoassets, equities, options and other leveraged or volatile products can move rapidly. You may lose all money committed and may incur fees, slippage, rejected orders, partial fills, margin calls or losses beyond an intended limit where the relevant market or provider permits them.
3. Prop-firm risk
Prop firms are independent third parties. Challenge rules, drawdown calculations, payout conditions, prohibited strategies, pricing, technology and eligibility decisions can change without notice. Verify current rules directly. A NetLabs model cannot guarantee that a prop firm will accept a trade, pass, account or payout.
4. Simulation uncertainty
PropSim uses simplified mathematical models. Results depend on settings, assumptions, imported data, random seed and software version. They may be affected by defects, stale rules, rounding, modelling errors and data quality. Estimated pass rates, risk of ruin, profits, payouts and hedge sizes are not promises.
5. Optimisation and overfitting
An optimiser can select settings that work only within the chosen model or sample. Testing more combinations increases the chance of finding misleading results by chance. Validate independently and do not assume the highest simulated outcome is best.
6. TradeLink execution risk
TradeLink may copy or transform orders across systems. Latency, symbols, contract sizes, lot steps, market conditions, connectivity and platform state can create delayed, rejected, duplicated, partial, unintended or unhedged positions. A hedge may increase costs and may not offset the original position.
7. Broker and platform choice
TradeLink is not limited to one country or one broker, but availability and lawfulness depend on your location, platforms and providers. Broker promotions are optional. You must determine whether a broker or platform is authorised, suitable and available to you.
8. Technology and security risk
Internet, cloud, desktop, API and third-party failures may interrupt access or produce stale or incomplete data. Malware, credential theft, device compromise and configuration mistakes may cause loss. Maintain independent controls and secure backups.
9. Your responsibility
You are responsible for configuration, independent verification, position sizing, monitoring, safeguards and every decision made using a NetLabs tool. Test in demo or appropriately limited environments before live use.
10. No guarantee
Past performance, backtests, simulations, expected values, testimonials and examples do not guarantee profitability, funding, payouts, rule compliance, reduced losses or uninterrupted operation.
11. Suitability and professional advice
Do not risk money you cannot afford to lose. Consider regulated financial, legal and tax advice where appropriate. NetLabs does not assess your personal circumstances or suitability.
12. Acknowledgement
By using TradeLink or PropSim, you acknowledge these risks and agree to make your own decisions. This disclosure does not exclude any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
